Your urgent out of hours GP service for patients of participating practices
NEDOC operates four treatment centres for any patient invited to attend their nearest and most convenient centre.
NEDOC does not provide a walk-in-service. All patients must first contact the 1800 777 911 number to receive an appointment.
Patients who have already contacted the service and received an appointment will receive priority before a walk-in-patient unless in the case of an extremely urgent situation. Each treatment centre is fully equipped to meet the needs of patients and is staffed with doctors, nurses and receptionists.

Take the second exit off the roundabout, NEDOC is in the grounds of the Hospital.

The GP centre in Cavan is located in the grounds of Cavan General Hospital, beside the Emergency Department.

From Carrickmacross
Driving into Castleblaney, take a left at the lights onto the main street.
At the roundabout junction go straight and take the left immediately after the school. The NEDOC Centre is straight ahead on Bree Road.
From Monaghan
Driving into Castleblaney past the Glencairn Hotel, take the 2nd exit off the roundabout junction.

From Dublin
Pass the train station on the right, follow the by-pass round the town over the bridge.
Go through the traffic lights and take a right at the sign for Termonfeckin.
Go straight through the next two junctions and the Cottage Hospital is the raised red bricked building on the left.
From M1
From the motorway take exit for Slane and at the top of the slip-road take the 3rd exit for Drogheda.
Pass M1 business park (Woodies etc) and take the 2nd exit off the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit for town centre.
Go through the traffic lights and take the left turn signposted Termonfeckin.
Go straight through the next two junctions and the Cottage Hospital is the raised red bricked building on the left.

From Kells direction via the M3 – take the M3 for Dublin.
At Junction 8 take the An Uaimh Theas exit to Navan (South)/R147.
Continue onto Navan South.
At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto R147 (town centre).
Go through the traffic lights after the Ardboyne Hotel.
Take the left turn for Academy St and NEDOC is on the ground floor of the building on the right (Academy Square).
From Dunboyne/Dunshaughlin take the Old Navan Rd from Dunshauglin:
Head northwest on Main St/R147 for Navan and remain on R147 for Navan (10k).
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on R147
At the roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on R147.
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (town centre) on R147.
Go through the traffic lights after the Ardboyne Hotel.
Take the next left for Academy St and NEDOC is on the ground floor of the building on the right (Academy Square).
